Политика «разорения соседа»
Меры, предпринимаемые какой-либо страной в одностороннем порядке для защиты своих собственных интересов в международной торговле часто за счет ущемления интересов других стран. Например, страна А решает ввести тариф на импорт из других стран. Опасность такой политики заключается в том, что она может нанести ущерб отечественной экономике: другие страны обычно платят той же монетой, вводя тариф на экспортные товары страны А. В результате все страны оказываются в невыгодном положении. В целях предупреждения подобного рода действий создаются международные организации, задачей который является регулирование международной торговли и валютных отношений. См.
